Two reports in one

I fished yesterday and today. Yesterday I fished with Frank on his bass boat at Wicomico in Salisbury and today I fished my favorite spot on Tuckahoe Lake.

It was hot yesterday but it wasn't bad on the water. There was a cool breeze that kept it pleasant. Water was dirty down river, OK up river through town in the no wake zones. Frank caught 4 keeper largemouth, one being 3lbs, and 1 about 10-11". I caught 2 keepers around 14-15" and 3 aggressive white perch. Crabs kept biting our plastics and roughing our line. Lost my favorite spinnerbait because of that. Had a gar or something else with teeth hit my worm in town, line snapped when I set the hook. Overall, fishing was slow but majority of the bass were decent size.

Tonight I fished my favorite in Tuckahoe Lake with my john boat. My dad actually fished with me for the first time in several years. The bass was hitting so hard that we stopped counting. We had well over 20 fish by dusk. Mostly small but hard fighters, they thought they were smallies. Thick, dark black line through each with dark green backs and yellow bellies, very healthy fish. They were hitting crankbaits and spinners. My dad also caught a very impressive bluegill.
