Hey guys, I'm just starting to get into rod building and I was wondering were I could find a cheap drying motor for sale. I have looked online and alot of the ones I looked at were just too darn expensive :eek2:. So does anybody know were I could find one cheap (less than $50). Thanks

Look around for a rotisserie motor, they have them on some outdoor grills and a few indoor ovens. They are small geared very low so will turn a heavy load and only turn a few rpms. Graingers used to carry them. I got mine off a trashed gas grill I found, been using 2 of them for over 20 years, no complaints on cost or serviceability.
