Fished friday and Walkers is loaded with herring and Shad. Me and my brother caught a bucket full in 1 hr. Caught my biggest cat yet in the Chick 58# 47" !!! I lost a bigger one that got under a log and snapped my 40# line. We also caught a 28,25,20,16, and alot of 5-10# cats. Stripers are thick in the river too the biggest was 28". The only problem was wishing the gars would quit biting our baits in half! gotta love the flats this time of year. Sorry no pics the cam was in the truck!![excited]

Went to Walkers around 1pm Sunday. Fished about an hour. No herring landed. Asians were around there fishing hard. People were catching them but not like 3 weeks ago. The cold weather and wind may have shut things down. Some people had nearly a bucket full. I got tired of seeing other people catch fish and left. Went and bought three eels. Fished on my beach on the chick. and only got some taps. Had a fire going, the wind was swirling and blowing smoke in my face. Thats what I get for skiping church. Hope to take off and go Friday or Saturday if the weather permits. - Kepone
