Fried catfish

Caught a few 3 lb cats last evening in the Mattaponi. Filleted and cut up into bite size pieces and fried it up. Haven't had anything so good in a while. I ain't much of a catfisherman but that may change.

Bite sized chucks of fried catfish is some of the best eating there is. And catfishing can be some of the most fun fishing there is. Been in the James at night before near Claremont and put over 50 channel and blues in the boat from 6lbs to 40 lbs. That's not counting the ones lost. That was a fun night. Got back to the boatramp at sunrise. I love catfishing.[grin][grin][excited]
