Went out from 6pm till about 3am this morning and caught 4 fish 8,14,16,28. The 28 was a male and his head was scraped up pretty good. They must be coming off their spawn finally. All four fish were caught on the flats below corbins neck swamp in about 8' of water. Had small eels white perch and gizzard shad rigged for bait. I caught the 8, 14 on gizzard shad and the 16,28 on live white perch. Nothing on eels. Nice night to be on the river. I will be headed for the James Friday evening to catch bait for the ECCC. I don't want to throw Rapp shad at the cats down there. If anybody needs help catching bait or wants to hook up and get a mess of shad let me know.

Well let's just say "Bait - AINT - the problem. IT's the "other" fish you try to catch with them ?????????????????????????

That's true I can't think of one trip where there was not enough bait. The problem usually is not enough fish to eat all of the bait I bring with me.
