Flat trailer tire. Believe it or not!

After watching the takeoff of the ECCC tonight, there was a tandem axle trailer with a flat. I stopped and ask if his spare had air. No spare. I asked if he had found what had caused his flat. He said yes. I offered my plug kit. So he began to remove the metal sliver. Well it looked kinda big for a nail. Thought maybe a piece of scrap metal. It was completely embedded. Well, you will see......

And if you are wondering, it was a 5/16 combo. I saw it, and still can't believe it.

2 plug strips and an air can, but not holding well. Said he was 10 minutes from home. Hope he got there.

Good turn out for the ECCC. It was 39 or 40 boats. Nice weather. If I can get up in the morning, I will get some pics of the weigh-in.

The front tire must have kicked it up off of the road and the second one hit it just right. What a bummer. At least he got a wrench out of the deal. -Kepone
