On the 21st I am scheduled to take the polygraph exam for the Fire Dept. I think the next and last step before hiring is a physical. I have never had to take such a test. It should be a unique experience. OK Dayton, let your smart ellick comments begin.
As for catfishing I have only been twice this year. I have been bass fishing fairly frequently because of convenience and the minimal effort required as compared to going out on the river messing around with live bait etc. I may go try to catch that 100 pounder this Oct. when it cool down some.

Polygraph? Are they scared that you might steal the fire truck?

I had to take a polygraph once - good thing the results are not admissible in court.

I had to take one for my TS clearance. Are you taking a Lifestyle Poly? Good luck. I walked out in the middle of my exam when the a$$hole asked me if I ever touched my daughter or any other kid in an inappropriate way. I answered the question first of course....thought about how screwed up it was...and told him good day. I do not recommend walking out though...I'm still waiting to go back and take the lifestyle again.
Do not read up on poly exams because that will be a question most likely asked...

I doubt if Kepone is getting a hardcore Lifestyle exam. Probably just a basic one. The exam I had was back in the '80s for pre-employment. I was only asked about stealing and things like that.
Gee - I did not know the TS Lifestyle exam was that intrusive. I guess they want to know about things that someone else could use as leverage against you to get infomation. Blackmail is a major tool that spies use.

I have taken the basic test several times after Bass Tournaments. Some guys don't like to take them but I will any day. You only have to take them if you finish on or very near the top[grin][grin][grin]

Richmond,
The Lifestyle Poly is very intrusive. That is why it is an optional thing to do. Of course if you fail to stay for the entire thing or you refuse to take it, you will not get the clearance you need for certain areas or programs that require them. If you can think of it...they ask it. I stayed for only a few hours and I wasn't even half through with the poly. When they started to ask the stupid ****** is when I gave it up. It pissed me off more than anything that they would ask such off the wall questions.
The C.I. poly is nothing like this. Just some background questions to make sure you haven't done anything that you haven't told them...or pretty much to see if they can catch you in a white lie....
