The gannets were all over diving on small pogies. Even with all the bait in the water, the cape cod bay gave up 35" - 20lb class fish on 3/4 oz jig heads with 6" sluggos, not smaller, not larger, and only the dark green ones in 45 feet of water. Everything else came up blue. We drifted over waypoint 35 and came up fish on over and over.

Great catch!!! I can't believe they are still up there this late in October. I line in Ocean City MD and it looks like it's gonna be quite a while before they get down here this year. What are the water temps in the CCB?

About 60 degrees when we were there.

Really like the light tackle. What make/mod rod/reels are shown in the pic? BTW the bass never seemed to show up on Nantucket this fall, however the albies were great.
