I DONT KNOW ABOUT YOU GUYS, BUT I HAVE A TERRIBLE TIME WITH THOSE DAMN BABY CATS IN THE CAST NET WHEN I'M TRYING TO CATCH BAIT. IF ANY ONE HAS ANY HELPFULL HINTS THEY WOULD LIKE TO SHARE ABOUT HOW TO AVOID THESE LITTLE ******S OR ANY EASIER WAY TO GET THEM OUT OF THE NET, I WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR COMMENTS!

I have a couple of suggestions for you.
1. Turn off the Caps Lock button. You are too new here to be yelling at everyone! LOL!
2. Stop throwing the net so close to the poles at Deep Bottom. That is the favorite place for baby cats.
3. Pliers. I hate to say it, but those tiny little flippers snap right off of those cute little cats. Then they will fall out.
4. There are no fish in the Dutch Gap area.

Use a net with a 2 in mesh

Slade is right. I hadn't thought of that. The bigger the net mesh, the less the problem.
Slade, when you leaving. Get a nice one. I would love an Elk steak. I know how much it cost to fly the meat home, so I won't ask for a free one.
Good luck,
