Visiting the area Nov 19-20 to take our son fishing. He is with the USCG, stationed at King's Bay. Planning on trailering our 19' Key Largo CC down from VA. Looks like a good moon phase for fishing...based on info I read to avoid full/new moon cycles. Everything I read seems to point toward targeting trout and redfish. Am I missing anything species wise? Never seeing the area, I assume we should focus on the inlet, Cumberland Sound and other creeks in that area. Any help from you fisherman would be appreciated, such as live bait vs. artificials. Really trying to just get some action...not so much meat fishing, since we will probably stay in a motel there. A final question for now...how does it work in the St Marys river with a GA Liscense and the Florida border? We appreciate any info you might give us. Thanks.
