THE PAST COUPLE OF TIMES I'VE BEEN TO THE RIVER THE DREDGING BOAT HAS BEEN THROUGH SOME OF THE GOOD HOLES. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THIS REALLY EFFECTS THE CATS AND IF SO,WILL THEY COME BACK TO THE SAME HOLES OR JUST MOVE ELSEWHERE?

WELL I'VE GONE TO A FEW HOLES THAT THE BOAT WENT THROUGH, AND NORMALY I CATCH GOOD FISH OR ATLEAST SOME GOOD HITS. BUT AFTER THE BOAT CAME THROUGH I HAVEN'T HAD ANY LUCK. I'M STILL RIGGING THE SAME AS I HAVE BEFORE.

Someone should follow the boat and pick the big fish up off the bank. The cats hate being sucked up and shot into the woods. I know, I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express one time.

Rod Bender,

It depends on the hole. Which holes were you in?

I've fished 40lb Island, Dutch Gap, and the deep hole near Osborne in front of the big house. I heard that they were gonna dredge all the way to the gravel pits at deep bottom.

I leave the dredging areas alone til they are done. The worst thing that happens is that the Kepone is stirred back in the water column.

It may effect it in the short term but the fish will come back soon after the disruption is complted.
Where about is this dredging occuring?

Well as of last saturday night, they were down near 295 bridge, but they had worked there way down from Osborne that same day.
