How was Sat? fish/deer

Hey Joe how did u do sat? We only had 1 5lb flounder really slow-did good on small livebait. Dayton/Scott any deer?

Had 7 does come by. Only one was a big mature one. She presented a good shot, but I decided to save it for later this week when I can have someone with me and we can try to video it.

Maybe dry is good. This is the first time ever, that I didn't have to fight a mosquito.

negatory, several pull downs and i had a rookie with me that lost one but several bites and several pull downs but NADA. I only fished from deep bottom to Presquille. I guess they gotta get hungry sooner or later. I did get to use my new handlheld VHF. Talked to a tug boat captain leaving Curles Neck. Striperjoe

Only fished to 10:00, maybe I shoulda waited till 10:30PM ! ! !
Caught them down river 30 days ago and now i "hear" they are up river. I do know another guide caught a 30 and 40 Friday nite "up river". I'm sure BigCat will post his hunting report soon.

Had a great opening day! Travis and I hunted together. We didn't kill anything but saw 3 AWESOME bucks(1 was either a 6 or 8 ptr and the other two were very big 8's). We saw two in the morning that crossed about 60 yrds out and one in the evening about the same distance. It was strange not to see any does and that many nice bucks. I can't wait to get back out there one day this week and get one of them.

joe i picked up where you left off .. fished from 1030-230 .. threw some lines out up by jd's .. had a pulldown but not fully

turned around and fished presquille pretty heavy .. no bites no nothin

i heard of one big fish caught .. a 40 in the presq cut through

pretty sad weekend considering i was out there with 5 other boats in the group .. i lost my patience and left at 230 but they fished all day and all night from jd's all the way down to the appomattox .. big fish was that 40 i just mentioned .. other than that they caught a 12 and a bunch of eaters

those fish gotta be starving!

Talked with my buddy from home today. They got 3 in the 40's, 2 in the 30's, and 1 in the 20's Sat nite. Not sure but down river I believe. I fished this evening with a buddy from up here in Maryland. We were on the Eastern Shore from 6pm till nearly midnight. We got over a dozen channel cats from 4lbs up to 12lbs on live shiner minnows and small white perch. It was quite a fishing trip with the siting of a giant buck on the way out to the main road from the ramp. We both agreed it was the biggest either of us had ever seen. What a night. Hope to get down there soon but the gas prices have made a difference in a lot of things. Later for now---jonnycat

going down river this Sat. - gotta be better, at least I know more secret holes down there - i know I am the only one that has ever fished them too, so i should be ok............and you believe that right! Daddy's coming back down from Urbanna(his home) and we are gonna try switching our hats, everything else we have tried. I could just play DUMB like Ranger for 29 days a month and then win the tourney on the 30th day. He has a bad habit of doing that. And to think he could be,,,,,,this hurts, ready - "Angler of the Year"....................ouch............that really hurts. But he is "really" good. Just ask him.
