I'd like to take the time to offer you fellow tidal fisher's a chance to spend time with a bunch of carp fishermen. I know most of you have encountered them at one time or another and would have to agree that they pull like freight trains. We are a passionate bunch and really like when others join in on the fun. A great sport for the kids as well :) . The event will be held at Haines Pt. in Washington DC - a DC fishing license is required for fishing this stretch of water and can be obtained nearby ( checks or money orders only ) and non- resident annual cost is 10 bucks. I realize that this time of year is prime time bay fishing but this is an alternative for a shot at a big fish. Mark your calenders - November 5 - 6th 2005.
