anyone know if its recovered yet?

haven't heard a good fishing report in over a month .. i plan on going wednesday .. with temps forcasted in the mid to low 60's and night time temps in the low 40's i'm hoping it will drop the water from mid 60's to low 60's or even high 50's

the bite has to turn on here soon .. unless of course the snakeheads are now in the james and are eating the catfish out of house and home [grin]

I'm waiting for it to happen. I have never fished the James in the fall, just winter and spring. I am really looking forward to a good bite on stripers and cats around shirley.

HOGWASH - Gtb's is a pro and we are "wannabees" so go figure, it sux for us and he's catching fish. I think the bite sux but this Sun. i will switch the way things have been done the past couple months. the water temp is 66 and dropping slowly. i do know the dutch gap area is hopping and also areas with structure and any bridge is HOT as long as it's IN Richmond. Do not fish any channel edges or dropoffs during daytime hours. Focus on the flats 4-6 feet of water. the cats are surfacing trying to warm up in the sun. Also don't forget to use EEL this time of year, just ask Dwayne, he'll tell you where to go. I'd get up with spinabait or better yet "Hire a Virtual Guide"//////////////////////////////////////[grin][grin][grin][grin][grin] Hope this helps. Striperjoe "layin' low"......[wink]

I am sure the bite is on somewhere in the river, you just gotta find the fish.
