Thought I was pretty familiar with the area but never heard of a Pelican Island. Anyone know where it is? Thanks.

They are probably refering to the large sandbar that has formed in the inlet. There is an island about half way between Chinc and OC that is refered to as Pelican Island also.

I vaguely recall a visit to tata camel toe island one time, or was that "vanishing beer" island? Some damn good times been had there...
