I know there is some good Perch fishing that takes place in Central Va. I wanna do some this year. I'd really appretiate any help as to when and general location.

chick at the first curve, matpni upriver, moomaw, swift creek......startn 2nd week feb. med minnows, 1/4 oz silver buddys, 1/8oz orange head pearl grub sometime tipped with small minnow.

Thanks Neil, I forgot about Swift Creek. My brother and I were Perch fishing there years ago and he had caught one that was very near two pounds and tossed it up on the bank. A couple minutes later a cat grabbed it and took off with what was to be a citation for sure.
