Chris thanks for telling me about this site and for the great trip Sunday March 5th. My arms are still sore. I will call you again and have already referred you to several other people who are planning trips to the James. Good luck with Jeff in the tournament!
Here on Lake of the Ozarks all is well, I'm catching fish like always but these shad seem stunted after using those James river monsters. If you ever come to Missouri you can borrow my boat as long as you add wavpoints to my gps. Seriously I had a great time catfishing and also got to see my first whale when we went on to Virginia Beach.

Actually I used to live in Hampton. I love it here though and while your river is fantastic we have it pretty sweet here too. I live on beautiful Lake of the Ozarks in Southern Missouri. Twenty minutes away is Truman Lake loaded with monster cats and Bass. We have great Hybrid fishing and just a little south of here is Beaver Lake known for its large stipers. So while I still thing ya got us on the overall fishing, I think we might have more catfish over 100lbs. I love both places this is just home.
