went up to western VA this past weekend. on saturday, it was 63 in staunton VA and sunny, as i drove west, it dropped to 32 and snowing in monterey! all the streams were way up, but pretty clear. couldnt fish the jackson or back creek. fished smith creek, and caught a small brown on a streamer. nice hatch coming off, but the fish wernt interested in them.
