Chain Bridge, 4/18 p.m.

Got out there and fished downstream of Chain Bridge after work yesterday. Fished from about 6:30 to 8 p.m., and caught about 20 hicks. Chartreuse produced steadily until dusk. Then I had to switch to red, but the action continued. There were a lot of spin guys out there, but I didn't see anyone else with a fly rod. Which was too bad, because the fish seemed more interested in flies than the spin stuff yesterday. That said, I don't think I caught anything over 20".

I plan on getting out there after work again today, probably around 6. I figure I better get my licks in before the rains come later this week (I knew it wouldn't last forever). Feel free to shoot me a line if anyone wants to meet up.

Fished CB just below the platform on Monday too, noon to maybe 1:30. I know, definitely not the best time. I caught about 10 small males. Only me and 2 others fishing there. Water looked great!
