SHAD ?????

WAS OUT FISHING THIS PAST WEEK IN A NEARBY CREEK. MY BUDDY AND I WERE GETTING PRETTY CONSISTENT HITS AND FLASHS. IT SEEMED THOUGH AS RIGHT BEFORE DUSK THE BITE TURNED OFF COMPLETELY. THE TIDE WAS EBBINGSO I AM NOT SURE IT IS LIGHT CONDITION OR TIDE STAGE THAT HAS A GREAT DEAL TO DO WITH THEIR HITTING OF FLIES. ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED.

Shad bite when they want to and thats that....there is usually no method to the madness. I notice on the susky, the higher flows are when they feed best. EVERY time I've caught shad they shut off in an instant, don't think there's much that can be done.
