Whooo-Hooo, Saltfly is back in the drivers seat... and with new plumbing too. Well... you didn't miss much on the Flats. Stripers didn't want to come out and play except for a few spurts of activity during the final days of the Flats C&R season. Hickory action as good as ever on the Potomac & Susky. White shad struggling to get started. Weather has been too cool as of recent. Actually, I'm still waiting for spring to arrive.[grin][grin] Good to hear you're back.

I read the title and I knew you had come to visit!!
I hope you are doin good bud. Let's see...the rips is a zoo, the flats were chocolate milk, the shad were good, and I am still bothering trout. I made a run out to De this morning with DF. The tide was screwy with the windbearing down. There were some nice sized blues caught by the bait guys. That's about it. The question is how are you and when do you want to go fishing??

Glad to see you dropped in for a vist. My wife and out wer at Fletcher's yesterday and I'll have a post tomorrow. I've mostly been shad fishing the last couple of weeks and have managed to get in a couple of trips for brook trout. Last month having gotten tired of cold damp weather I did manage to do a little snook fishing around Sarasota, FL and caught my first sailfish on a trip to Costa Rica. Other than that not much happening on my end. Hope to see you at beach fest.

hey howard. well i'm back only for the day. we are here at my daughters for mothers day.

yea the new plumbing is doing well. i'm still not 1oo% but the most important thing is, i'm still kicking.

the doc is letting me fish some now. sooooo i have been fishing for my all time faverit fish. blue gill. and man have the big ones been out playing.

sorry to here about the poor fishing on the flats, but it was bound to happen. this year so far has been a cool one.
but man did i miss the shad this year. i looked for some on the rivers over here. are were some but not like the pot. and susky.

you going to make the beach trip that ken is seting up?

i'm going to get up their fi i can find out when , where and what time.

we will finally be moving in this week god willing and the river don't rise.

hey i found some fishing you would like. stream fishing for blue gills. some big ones too. because of the wind i started seeing if there was anything in some of these streams. man was i surprised. i did get my first blue gill over 1 1/2 pounds last week. she was pushing 1 3/4 pounds. i was fishing a little 6 1/2 foot rod for a 3. men was that fun.

i will say i miss being on here every day. mybe we mit brack down a get a computer. dam never thought i would say that.
but it will have to come after my tractor. yea you read that right. going to become a gentleman farmer. men can you beleave me being called a getleman of anything. bwahahahahahaha.

man i've been doing thing i thought i would never do. been out rough gradong with a skid loader. helped a guy i met fishing move ten 20 ton truck loads of dirt with a skid loader with tracks.
been running over every thing with that thing. when i get behind those sticks get out of the way. dam thier fun. of course the doc doesn't know. but he's a good guy. he told me do what ever i want. that is with reason. driving a skid loader is with in reason for me.

you've got to get down here once we are settled. tony, mark and andy said they were going to get down. i'm looking forward to geting off shore this year. so you have got to get down and run out there with me.

keven was down at one of the clud meeting and dan is coming down this week. looking forward to seeing him.

Welcome back, Walt. I was out bluegilling today....they ain't on their nests yet here, but they're getting active. Surprised not to see any bass, though.

Anyway, glad to hear from you and hope to hear more of your adventures....
