Needed to get on the water and too windy to fish-- so we hit a West River creek w/ 30 traps around 2pm. Figured warmer afternoon temps might get a few mudders movin'.
4 hours later, 9 males, 5-1/4"- 6" heavy brownbellies, most in 8'- 9' depth. Tide was amped up. Water temps ~60F.
Knew it was still too early but had to do something with this wind. Maybe warmer temps next week will turn 'em on?
