Crabbed Sunday with Catch22. Had high hopes since we cought a couple of dozen the week before but we struggled all day. Crabbed fron 6:30 until 11:00. 30 traps/necks tried Thompson in 3 to 6 ft, moved out to Cox because of a good report from Pat-N-Mike.....didn't do well there either. Moved back into Thompson and only ended up with a little over a dozen. Crabs were mixed but better than the week before. Water temp hit 75 as we were leaving. WX was perfect. Hoping with temps in the 80's this week things will be picking up.
No commercial boats out yet but there were several at the landing getting ready, baiting lines, etc. MAN it's a long time commin' this year.

I crabbed same day / same area. I didn't start til about 2 and crabbed the incoming tide...off the water @ 6. Got just over a dozen...some were still covered in mud. Commercial guy laid his line, which had to be 5000 feet, in the creek we were crabbing. He did two runs and quit. With 90 degree temps this week creek should be good by next weekend.

Sorry about that... Had first three of four traps with crabs and excitedly called ND over.... it was just a tease.... Ended with 15 crabs also.
Worked 3.5' - 10'...... 6-7' was the best for me, but when you only get 15 crabs, it's tough to tell !?!?!? [tongue]

ND,
Hi and thanks for the report.
I did 0 in the Miles last weekend. Only put out 15 Ctpx.
This warm week should help. It can only get better from here.
Good Luck!
