Pax and Potomac Info Please

How far up these rivers do crabs go? Just wondering.

It all depends on the amount of rain we have. The crabs follow the salt wedge. On the Potomac I know they are usually at least to Nanjemoy Creek. On the Pax at least Benedict.

On the Potomac a good indication is where the crab pots are.... I have not gone north of GooseBay yet this year so I am not sure about up there but right out from GooseBay it is covered with pots.....

I know that there are pots up the Potomac to the 301 bridge. See them working them on my way to DC two days a week.
