Took first trip to Wye Thurs. Five hours of work for twelve crabs. pots and trotline. I do not think they are in yet and I was catching the ones that buried themselves close by. Surface temp 75 to 78. I believe it is about to really start any day now. So I wouldn't be surprised if a good report occurs by Sun. Did worse at mouth of river and better near creek entrances. Crabs were caught between 3 and 9 ft. No crabs deep up to 18 ft which surprised me. Good luck. Crabs were about half full with a couple monsters and were great. Just wish I had more for an evening snack. Hopefully, this delay will have them come out in full force all at once. Last year already had 6 bushels of Wye Crabs, two on the 21st of May!
Good Luck
