PAX Report From This Morning

Another late start. Line in at 630 out at 930.Too crowded in cove to the right of ramp so decidd to try new area.Wind was up South 15-20k.

South to north lay inside of the clam line in 5'. Managed 2 bushels of good crabs while surfing down the line a bit.
They seem to be getting a little more active.

Great day out there (at least until the wind started kickin up, fortunately by that time, had filled my bushel.

Details:

PAX north of Benedict Ramp
8 ft.
30 open top traps.
Baits Chicken and croaker heads (croaker heads actually outcaught chicken)

Traps in the water by 5:30, last trap pulled and headed for the dock by 0900.

Did not keep anything under 6 " and no females (only caught 1 female and throwbacks - undersized - only a couple of dozen).

Should continue to get better.
