It's always a disappointing feeling when you arrive at the launch ramp and discover that something essential was left behind.
Once I left the baited line in the freezer after travelling almost 100 miles to crab. Never again!!! That's why I use a check list.

Below I have listed one I use for crabbing. I also have one for my fishing boat, one used for long distance trips (fishing). and one for out of country trips.

Maybe you'l find this one useful and can add to it.

All right, then you will have enough room for back-up batteries for your headlamp and Rain X

No wonder you boat leans to one side[grin]. Improvising when you forget something takes all the fun out of the trip - I don't recall seeing coffee on the list.

Lem me splane..........

The headlamps I was referring to are the lamps worn on the head like a baseball cap. They are powered by either 2 or 4 AA batteries depending on make and model. Theydo not need an extra battery, although I do carry a 4 pack in the tool boz along with extra bulbs.

Wait..... The line puller also has a dedicated battery. I'd better add to the list to make certain it is recharged before taking the trip.

Coffee.......... That's obtained when gassing up at the neighborhood WAWA at 1:45 AM. Doesn't everyone?[grin]

Crab Gage? NOOOOO
Crab Guage!

Now your list is relativley complete and accurate!

I always bring my Uridium Satellite phone though and extra batteries.

OH, I also bring an extra atomic battery for my Bionics. Ya never know!

And fresh, currently dated flares and sound device. DNR can really be a beotch.

Excellent list Jerry. But forgetting the t-line. That is as bad as not putting the plug in da boat! Whats worse is not having a plug to put in da boat.

I gotta go make a list of sh?t I need to take.

Beat not turning off the boat lift and coming back to two lift motors running, both belts burnt thru and the lift all up in the air. Plus the cables AFU! Now that is a big FY! Its happened to old burchbeer. But, and I hope, it will never happen again. It doesnt pay to be in a hurry, But, when the water draws us we lose all sense of reality.

You know what I mean!
