great video.......what lb test line did you guys have strung up on reels...getting ready to trailer the boat down & we have everything rigged.....except all my 50's are lined w/ 80lb mono???
just curious.

50-80lb test is plenty

some think 80 lb mono is to much....it scares the fish off....is it better in your opinion to use 50-60lb.....instead of the thick 80lb mono....

80 worked just fine... When the summer hits and the water is warm they will get a little leader shy... But through the colder months it's usually no problem... We used between 80-120 lb leader with no problems...

thanks for the info....ill wait until june to respool w/ 50 lb
it is expensive to respool 9 tld 50w w/ new line.
but the 80lbs been on there for awhile......so it will be worth the cost
