I have heard that if you can get out the fishing is good. Anyone else hear anything.

I have a 212 CC Hydra Sport and would like to buddy up with someone else that might be heading south on a good weather day.

Anyone making any trips?

I'm going to try it on Tue if the weather holds. I'm in a 25 foot WA Hydrasports. I'll be going out of Village Marine in Hatteras. Should be getting down there by 10PM on Mon. I'll be in a slip near the bath house. Stop by if your there.

I have also heard I need to get two permits?
A federal tuna permit and a NC tuna permit.

Where can I purchase these permits.

Someone gave an on line address but when I went there it was an application for 2004.

You only need the federal permit and it runs from May 2004 to May 2005, that's why it probably says 2004 permit. So unfortunately you'll be buying a permit that expires pretty soon but its cheap regardless.

Don't leave the dock without your premit. It expires soon but ya got to have it anyway.

Do you have to buy your permit on line?

The Federal permit runs May 04 to May 05.

How about a North Carolina permit? I need one of those too?
