Rod suggestions

I'm going to order a TLD25 next week.

I was looking at a medium wieght ugly stick and was wondering if this would be a good all around rod for tuna, dolphin, kings, shark, and bottom fishing?

I agree with catstevens.... something in the 50lb class.

Take your reel to a tackle shop and try out several rods until you find the one that feels the best to you.[grin]

I 'think' I can still get hold of a 40-60# Ugly Stick blank. You probably already know how the Ugly Sticks pull. The dang things are almost indestructable!
