we usually stay at the haterras marlin motel as the choices have gotten smaller since the last hurricane the prices have gone up.I think we payed 125.00 in season so they are probably a little cheeper now because its was July when we stayed there. They are only about three minutes ride from teachs layer. We drive down daily unless we are on vacatation and an old racing friend of mine owns it.Nothing fancy there is room on the side between the pool and the fire dept. to park a couple of boats on the grass. We never had any problems with anyone messing with our stuff.Stayed there the last three years and it was only about 55.00 before the hurricane.they have a small fridge and coffe pot in the room with cable tv.Nothing fancu but theres a store in the parking lot and another accross the street.

We stayed there last week and it was great for the money... Clean remodeled rooms (3 twins plus a sleeper), reasonable, boat ramp...
