Yup it was a slow day for us as well, one YFT and plenty of Bonita. Mike “Swan caller” was challenged with busting my boat’s wahoo cherry, and we ALMOST pulled it off. Mr Hoo came calling, unfortunately he made his way through the wire before could get him to the boat. Still was great day on the water and many thanks to Mike, Howard & Ross for doing all the cockpit work and sharing of your knowledge.

Nice day bait on the machine and only bailing bait around it. Yep Mr hoo visited us 2 times. He got one of my Yummies, and my pumkin islander. It was nice to see a hoo that could actually tote that 4lb trolling weight out 100mhr. That was a nice size HOO. He is running around now with the coolest looking ear ring in the HOO world.[grin] Great time with you guys hope to do it again sometime maybe once this tuna bite takes off good out of OI.

Thanks for the trip Tony. Mike, Howard and yourself made for a great day of fishing even if the Tuna were not cooperating. Maybe next time.[tongue]

Kevin - Great meeting you too, when you past me south of Chico did I still have my eyes open, I was dog tired lol. Yea that 300 HPDI pushes my boat a little better than the 250 OX66 did. Next time I'll find a cottage with HEAT, I froze my a$$ off. Thats right JimmyK turn on the AC ... key learning cut plug off AC unit if Jimmy is in the house.

Pat & Mike - the hoos were PERFECT, sure nice not having to worry if you will find hoos and what quality you will find.

Ross - Had a great time and glad you got a chance to put a little blood on the deck of my boat, bmail me your cell # for future trips.
