I'll be taking my helicopter dragging some squids i rigged hoping to create a similar effect to the green stickers... I figure it won't take long to limit out and should be back well before lunch.

You ever try to gaff a tuna from a helicopter - not easy

Harpoon gun is how we did it the 1 time I fished from a copter. A vintage Huey I believe.

Fishing from the copter I would suggest you not try to emulate the green stick, instead shoot for the kite. If you use the chopper like a kite you won't have to troll around all day...you should be able to see the fish from the air and just dunk the bait right on top of them.
I wouldn't go today...50kts in the stream. Tomorrow is looking better. It's gonna lay down to 45kts Saturday. Best of luck!
Don't worry about filing the float plan...just make sure your lawyer has your will drafted.

I had to quit copter fishing a few years back.... Lost too many visors leaning out into the rotor wash... When the costas got blown off, I knew it was time to quit....
Just remember to gaff when there at the top of the swell... Never gaff in the trough...
