With the weather and wind of late I was wonder if a 50w on a stand up rod is ok for flounder and redfish??

do you think I can get a good drift going in 40 knot winds?

Because the only water my boats going to see is inside an inlet or from a hose

[sad]

Hope it's a big flounder!!! [grin] Maybe you could add extra weight and have whoever's driving the boat circle back around for added effect...

make sure you have enough braid on that 50 so you don't get spooled[grin] This weather sucks[sad]

Better beef up a little, I dont think anything less than an 80 will keep you happy. Make sure you get a heavy enough rod too, They are some pretty fiesty fish!

My only suggestion is make sure it's a two-speed![grin]
