HI Weds Not really a report

Well rolled the dice and ran down (Teach's)Tuesday night with plans for Weds. The SW10-15 turned into 15-20 by day break. Bill "bbogue" arrived and was thinking the same as our crew, "Too much Wind". He was a bit smarter than us headed home there shortly after. We hung around wondering if by some stroke of luck mother nature would give way. Not a chance... Several OB went out and after checking the current conditions at Diamond Shoals I'm sure they are paying for it. Seems like at least once a year we hit a bad day. Maybe this will be it for this year? Great to see you guys Bill, and Jimmy thanks for the info from Tuesday... Oh yeah, there was a road check in HI on the way down... No big deal but have your ducks in a row....

Sorry you guys coldn't make it out. Was out there Tuesday and you could feel it breezing up!!!! I was looking at the last trip the same way as you but it was with a skunk hopefully one of my skunks are past me!!! Already looking at the weather for next week!

Just your typical road check... Lic. Tags, DUIs, etc.....

Mexicans may be a good item to add to the police log though:) As big a pain as the police are in Nags Head, you would think that they don't want the $ from out of towners.

Nice to finally meet you and your crew. It appears that the winds did not lay down yesterday...15-20 at Dia Shls buoy throughout the day. Once again, nutz! Drowned our sorrows with a HUGE breakfast in KDH on the way home! Maybe next time.
