Free FCV-582 Transom Transducer

I have a transom mount transducer from my Furuno FCV-582L
and would like it to have a new home. I replaced it with a Thru-Hull
and don't want to just toss it out. If anyone can use it just B-mail me and
I will send it to you and you can send me the cost of the shipping probably not more than 5 Bucks. It has speed and temp.

What transducer did you go to. I just order the B260 from airmar. they are clamming it is 50 times better than their other thru hulls.

I went with the B744V. I am very happy with it.
I think the B260 is a 1KW unit and mine is a 600 watt.
I fish the bay about 80% and the Ocean 20%
so I didn't think I needed the extra power.

The repr. that i talked to from airmar told me that the b260 was the best transducer for the fcv582l on the market. even though it will handle 1k watt your machine will only use 600 watt. but the increase in the amount of elements really makes a difference in the ability to mark fish.
