Boy this sux, three weekends in a row, getting blown out.
It was marginal today, a few boats went.
I hope to make it tommorow.

I know how you feel Jay. No charter business, but I own a restaurant along the coast & I feel your pain about the past few weekends weather. Luckily, business for me could have been a lot worse than it has been but I keep thinking of 'what could have been' had the weather cooperated.
A buddy of mine has had very few middle of the week charters this year...booked mostly on the weekends. The past few weeks haven't been good for making his 'monthlies'.

John Holmes Extended 4cast for next weekend is exactly the same thing! Thank god for home equity lines of credit to pay bills......

At least you still have a home! They just came down here this morning, checked the tires, hitched er up and repo'dmy home. Looks like the family will be staying on the Reliance for awhile.Well come to think of it that wont be so bad.That boat tied up next to mine has a nice tower that the kids can use for a jungle gym.

Called off the trip and went to raleigh to see widespread panic. Great concert, (lots of hot college girls), but I would have rather been fishing. Anyone now if the weatehr man was right or did we puss out?

a couple of boats went, the rest of us pussed out.
My guys were not real into it, and the forecast was ominous.
of course they were wrong, and I kicked myself all day!
It is always a tough call!

it was still no place for a small boat, but in retrospect I should have gone.
Hope today would be better, and its blowing harder today!
