After a slow start to our season we finally got em'. We have had 4 trips so far this year, losing our others to the ole' wind of course. Seems like every time we got out it was a slow day for everyone, getting pretty frustrated. That was until yesterday and we made em' pay! Seeems we got lucky we fished on the 250 rocks in about 62 degree clear green water. Ended up with 24 tuna to 50 pounds and a 35# wahoo and went home at 12:45. Just what the doctor ordered! Seems like we got em on everything. We never did get a total wham of 9 or 10 Seems like it was little whacks all day of 3-6 fish at a time. It sure felt good to be in the meat again. Take it easy and remember, don't let your meat loaf!

Very Nice!! Sounds like a great time! We have been blown out twice (understatement) and feel your pain. Hopefully it will be smooth water for a while and ya'll can do it again soon.

Awsome. This has been a hit or miss spring both weather & fishing wise. I'm glad you found a pocket of fish. Did you use a planer in that water or was it all up top? Thanks for the post DJ.
