I'm finally getting out for tuna the first time this year. Leaving Va Beach going South to Oregon Inlet. Would anyone like to suggest where they have been biting? I'm taking customers so I want to show them a good time. Your help is much appreciated!
I'll be fishing HI all next week. Won't know what's going on up North, but give me a call Wed. and I'll give you a HI report from the 300 south. (804) 512-0482

As of late, most have been fishing down near the 280 and 230 rocks (east of DSLT) but if the break pushes onto the Point or further North, you can bet they will be on the break wherever it crosses the 100.
Good luck.

Last weekend they caught the tunas on the rock pile in 59 degree water. No thermocline. Hard to catch last weekends fish though. Looks like the water is blending out a touch today. Probably some good tuna fishing!
Just got off the phone w/ a buddy out of Hatteras and they'd caught 7 tunas for the day. Still fishn. Didn't leave the dock till 7:30 though. Crew was late. Said the bluefish are thick!
