Thanks to all the TFers who offered your expertise on tuna fishing. We had a great day on Wednesday morning at the Jackspot. Caught 6 BFT and lost a big one at the boat. Not bad for first time, but they were so thick it was easy to hook up. Getting them to the boat was another story. They pull unlike anything Ive ever caught. Caught them on everything. Purple / pink did seem to be the hot color. No fish on green lures. Only fished two hours, weather started to turn ugly, so we headed for port.
