Left OC at 5:30a.m. Sat. morning. Dad booked out charter for the day, so expectaions were high. Fog was ridiculous the first 20 miles. Finally got to open it up and arrived in the tip of the Norfolk around 8:30. Soon as we set the lines, the torrential down pours began and it was on and off all day. It seemed that every time the rain would let up a bit, we'd get a bite. Ended up with 8 bites for the day, boxed 7 YF's averaging 25lbs, tossed one back. 5 came on the rainbow spreader in the left short, 2 on a green spreader in the right short, one on a b/w seawitch. The bite in the Norfolk the previous day was good for a few. The Marli boxed 15 YF's and 2 BF's in the same location on Fri. It seemed it was hit or miss Saturday, some boats got a few and some didnt get a bite. One boat had an 84lb YF in the same loc. There were also some nice 100lb class BF's caught at the Parking Lot.
