Got a late start today. Left the dock @7am and lines in at the crotch around 9ish. We had a slow start and as the fog set in we trolled up and across the Lumpy and then head E to the 30. Picked up a nice BFT 45# and YFT 35# and then it slowed so we headed back towards the 20. Got covered up in blues twice real quick, lost a bunch of gear, and then headed back to the 30. Finished the day off with another YFT about 50# and then @ 2:00 we were very lucky to land a 59" WAHOOSKI for a citation. The one other boat fishing the area had the hook in a large blue marlin twice, but it didn't stick. Nice day. No fish on the long line and bally's behind a green tuna whacker (flat line) was the hot bait for us.

Yeah, we let Booby in on the fun. We usually just bring him to crank on the bluefish.

Terp, I'll shed a tear for all the guys on vacation stuck in NC. I feel like it takes an act of congress to go fishing this year. At least my first trip was a good one.

Hey Terp ive been fishing the past 4 days out of lockwood folley and the spanish are EVERYWHERE we have been getting covered up constantly while down there the hot lure was a 00 gold spoon trolled 20' behind a 2 oz trolling sinker. The flounder are biting pretty good inside too. We tried kings around the AR's and the 10 mile rock but no takers. Good luck.
Tight Lines,
Spenser
