Talked to Mojo Joe today. He trolled in the Poormans yesterday, 10/18. Fished 50 to 110 fathoms, water was on the cool side 63 to 67. Caught 6 or 7 yfins 20 to 40 pounds, and 1 bfin 11 inches. Yeas 11 inches, smallest he has ever seen. Said that his bites were in all temp ranges and depths.
Good luck.

Thanks for the report also[smile]
Thanks a lot for the report, Franky. I plan to fish the Poorman's on Friday, and thought chunking would be the only game in town this time of year. It's good to know that fish are still being caught on the troll there.

it sounds like the fish were kind of scattered about. if they group up chunking might be the answer.
My dad and I have to run the Hard Head on Saturday, so I guess we'll be out in that neighborhood, dragging stuff around.

Franky - I talked to a couple of guys who fished the poormans today. both told me the same story. Lots of weeds and cold water. No Tunas but Dolphin were their for the pickin. I was also told that the radio chatter of the real tuna bite today was around the 570line around the Norfolk.
terp told me they were out past the 500 looking for the break that was on rutgers but it seemed to have pushed east.

Wow, that'll be a haul tomorrow down to the Norfolk from Indian River. Anything heard from the Baltimore?

Oh, and thanks for that report. I hate decisions, North or South. I guess the boat ride tomorrow will decide our fate.
