What can I say, we went for it with an iffy forecast and it turned out to be a beautiful day on the water..

Boat - Mine - Fishin Fool
31' Contender FA

Crew - Myself (Lucian), Jimmy K., Tillford (Want Them Reds), Hamish (Scottsman) & Bob

Left OI 5:30 am, followed the charters out of the inlet (Thanks Charters), headed to the point, cruised out at 25 knotts (SWEET).

Started setting out the spread and Fish on... Did not come tight..

Trolled a little north to the 600 50-100 fathoms and found some very nice marks, had a double, nothing came tight....

Worked the marks and finally picked up a very nice fat YFT around 60 lbs. and a pup..

Worked the marks some more and squeezed 3 more YFT mid 30's to 50's..

Trolled south and found a Wackin Nice Wahoo around 32+ lbs., came in on the "Hamish Scottish Twirler" pulled on the planer... SWEET!!!

Decided to troll back to the north to our original marks and the fish were still there and popping up here and there... Picked up 2 more YFT... Yours truly cranked in 2 tunas Fishin Fool Style...

Nice ride back to the dock at 40+ mph

Final Talley
1 - 32+ lb. Wahoo
7 YFT (1 pup and 6 from 35-60+ lbs.)

Hot Baits... Off The Hook SPREADER BARS!!!

What a Great Crew to have aboard.. Everyone worked very hard and were constantly checking baits..

Very nice to fish alongside of the following Tidalfishers BBogue (Bill), Chumlord (Lou) and too many more to list.. Also good to see Butch on the Calcutta, now that's a SWEET RIDE!!!

Jimmy K will post the video and I will add the pics ASAP....

It's been a long day and I'm going to BED!!

BTW: It won't be long and we'll be getting 7 at a time!!

That is a shoulder harness. It's easy to put on and helps a bit on fighting a fish. I am going to get a bucket harness whick is easier on the back in case we hook up with BUBBA and have an extended fight..
