Charters in Avon, NC Area

I am going to be in Avon, NC in the end of August and was hoping to set up a charter. I was wondering if anyone can recommendation a boat for that area. I was really looking for a charter boat because we have a deff 6 guys but might have as many as 8, which we might have to then look for a headboat. Thanks for any direction you can provide. Thanks

If you are planning to go offshore, your options are either Hatteras Inlet or Oregon Inlet, Hatteras being South of Avon and probably a little closer than OI, and OI being North. If you decide on Hatteras, you can't go wrong with Jay Kavanaugh:

Miss Hatteras for bottom fishing offshore and the cost is about $100. Offshore charters for 6 or less will be about $1200 in Hatteras or $1400 out of OI. Have fun. Craige (Mary E)
