Wow what a week.... Could not fish Wednesday but all the rest of the days were AWESOME.. Scattered dolphin bite, Whites are a plenty and some Wahoo.... Not to mention the Huge Tile fish to 17 pounds while bottom fishing in 30 fathoms.... Lost a very nice Dolphin at the gaff on the last day but all in all fishing was HOT... Never had a dull day all week...... One of the Wahoo was about 60+, The others were around 30... Had no luck at the point but did have great fishing straight out of OI near the canyon wall... All the whites came on very small popper Mahi lures !!!! Get this, The Whites did not even look at the balyhoo rigs !! Now the boat is back in Wachapreague and will be headin there maybe Tuesday.. Good luck yall.....

Scott, did you pull them wahoo from the deep? Wire? Sounds like a great trip and a great week off to boot. You gonna be in Wachacantspellit this weekend? I'm fishing on a buddies boat in that marlin tourney.

Hey Terp.... Yep, from the deep... Downrigger and 16ozs of lead... Dark sparkly lures.... I'll be there this weekend.. John Marsh is also in the tourny (Hook Em) and I may catch a ride with him... Have to see.. If the wind is nice then I'll take my boat... Thinking of moving up real soon to a 28-35 footer.. Looked at a 25 Carolina, To small...

dammmnnnnn, coin man I see. You only live once though. My only issue is the in the water deal and not being mobile, dats why the 25 CC. I'll never be slip based again. You headed down Thurs evening for the dinner? Is this a troll only tourney do you know?

Terp, I may not be able to make the Thursday thing... I will be in town Friday.. I'm not sure on the troll/chunk rules.. There are a few 28 footers that are trailerable.. Will have to see, That is why i am looking at that 28 foot class also... If I could trailer a 30+ I would go for it !!! That Kencraft has served me VERY well... Just need a little more room and nice tackle center for my brother Maestro, That guy deserves a rigging center instead of my backseat..[grin]
