Pasqoutank River

Fished the Pasquotank River today (Sat)with good friend Tribble Hook, started out a little slow a few red fin, bass,brim, rock and puppy drum. Good selection but far in between. Talked to a friend and they had about 30 white perch. About 11:00 or so we hit the honey hole, one keeper puppy drum, one black drum, one croaker, plenty of small white perch, red fin, rock and bass all within a 50 yard stretch. White perch busting top water all around us. All caught on white beetle spin with shrimp or shrimp fishbites. We kept 8 for a hot oil bath.

Tally for the day-
5 or 6 puppy drum
1 black drum
1 croaker
3 or 4 rock
15+ red fin
3 bass
30+ white perch

sounds like it woulda been a good day though,if it was real.

Seems like the bigger pups are eatting the crab, at least thats the way its been for me. Sound like a fun day though[excited].

Wait... I did lie, it was Trebble hook fishing with me not Tribble Hook. Older brother taught me how to spell![grin]

Jay, the bearing held up fine yesterday,but I got a leaf spring that has moved or something?
