Had three great days of bass fishing on the upper potomac river near Nolands Ferry.
Caught bass to 16 inches every day Oct 21, 22 and 30.
If you try it, work it hard. You'll be rewarded. Practice catch and release.
I switched to a full size spinnerbait and hooked up on a huge smallie (lost it). I then hooked up a couple right away. Next day, I got nothing on the big bait so I tied on a #2 mepps, thought I may as well catch some sunfish.
Caught 5 bass to 16 inches and 20 big gills. I love it !!
