FISHING NEWS: Tournament Results for the Virginia Northern Neck Anglers Club Target Ship Shootout

The Virginia Northern Neck Anglers Club "Target Ship Shootout" Tournament was held at the end of June (June 23-24) and had a strong showing of Flounder, Croaker and Bluefish at the scales.

The top finishers in all the categories were:

Flounder
First Place - Frank Brewer of Williamsburg VA - 4 lbs. 10 oz.
Second Place - Matt Bruington of Mosely VA - 3 lbs. 9 oz.

Croaker
First Place
- Barry Smith Jr. of Prince George VA - 1 lb. 13 oz.
Second Place - Barry Smith Sr. of Hopewell VA - 1 lb. 8 oz.
Third Place - Jan Jamrog of Heathsville VA - 1 lb. 2 oz.

Bluefish
First Place -Paulette O'Connor of Manassas VA - 1 lb.
Second Place - Jan Jamrog of Heathsville VA - 12 oz.
Third Place - John O'Connor of Manassas VA (tie breaker) - 11 oz.
