Any one know of an online site that gives a current water temp for Wach? planning on heading down to fish 4-1,2,3 weather permittin' & can't seem to fond any info or working website that gives water temp??
I checked on VIMS & NOAA sites . there is no realtime data available on water temps .
I know of some commercial rod & reel guys that have been fishing with very little luck . this coming week the weather is supposed to be in mid 60s to 70 deg , it should warm up the water on the flats . this should get the fish biting .
Noaa has updated their tides and currents website, some of these stations can give you water temp. The wachapreague station has been down for at least a couple months now for temp data, I used it a lot in the previous years, I hope someone gets it fixed soon. However, Ocean city and Kiptopeake stations are working, heres a link to the ocean city real time temps. For kiptopeake, do a search at the top and then choose meterological observations on the left. (same for wach. but the temp sensor is wacked out). The plots are really nice, make them for a week long and you can see the temps rising!
